Pregnancy Whoa's...

Well, I'm at 30 weeks and so far so good. When I hear about other women's pregnancies and all the sickness or problems they have I really am reminded of how lucky I am. But....there does come a time when it just feels good to vent!

Friday afternoon I started feeling pretty tired about 3:30 p.m. by the time I picked up Jayden from pre-school and made it home, it was all I could to change my clothes and climb into bed! I usually come home on Friday nights and get my cleaning done so I have the rest of the weekend to do yard work, homework or family time. But not this weekend! I seriously felt like someone beat the crap out of me, I couldn't hold my eyes open! When I did finally wake up, my lower abdomen & hips were aching so bad it was a chore to walk. YUCK! I felt so lazy, poor
Cory and Jayden had Eggo's for dinner because I didn't even want to cook :(

I felt a little more energy after dinner but just enough to walk downstairs to the couch! I'm still pretty tired tonight but after we went for a motorcycle ride with Laurie and James, Cory and I took a nap and I got most of my cleaning done, made dinner and even made Cory some yummy brownies. I guess I'm just to that point where it will get harder and harder to do my everyday things.

I do feel good that I didn't push it and listened to my body when it said 'you need to SLEEP!' We are now going to the Dr. every two weeks. So far so good, my last appointment I only gain 1/2 lb!! His heart rate sounds good and he is a very busy little guy in there, always moving. I get my next ultrasound at 36 weeks so I'll be sure to share pictures. We also got Jayden's new room painted, just have to get him a bed and dresser. I ordered Casey's bedding so we can paint his room next weekend. I'll get pictures posted of the final products!

Up up and away!

Daddy getting it started Ü
Run, run, run

It's a bird, plane, SPIDERMAN!

This afternoon, Jayden talked his dad into getting the kite out that he's had since easter. Jayden thought it was pretty cool!!

Bad to the BoNe!!

So my bike has felt a little neglected since I've been pregnant, let's face it you really don't get near the riding in when you've got little ones Ü

The summer Cory and I first starting dating, we were out on the bikes every night after work and on most sunny weekends. It was before we had our house and we were living with his mom so 'honey do's' were few and far between. That was the year we rode them to Sturgis with my parents, and put miles upon miles on them!

We finally talked James into taking her out for a spin today with Cory for a lunch ride. I must admit, I really do miss riding but I'm so GLAD James took it out to keep her warm for me!! Now we'll have to have him take Laurie and I'll ride with Cory Ü

hOgLe ZoO...

We took the kids on Saturday to the Zoo. Jayden's been learning about animals at pre-school so he has been very excited to go. We went with Laurie, James and the kids and Lisa's daughter Kayli.

We got there at 9:30 am, so there wasn't really a line or a lot of people so it worked perfect. Jayden was on really good behavior (yes for him that is odd!) He loved the animals and would roar at them or say 'Hey monkey, stop eating that food!'

We got to ride the train, eat lunch and then play at discovery land for a bit! It was a great time and I'm so glad I got to be there with him to see it Ü

Mother's Day

Ok - so I'm a little behind Ü
We had a great day, started off with a lunch at Grandma Diane's. It ended up being just us, Cory's sisters and Denny. They made awesome hamburgers that I of course ate too much of.
Then we were off to my moms for dinner, the kids had a good time playing and my mother of course got all the girls a little present (clothes, which is never a bad...even when you're pregnant) Ü
My mom told me that on my way out to grab the plant my Aunt had gotten me, so on my way out I grabbed the one on the top shelf with a ribbon. I thought it was pretty heavy and big to be a gift...but it did have a bow. Well, we stopped by Laurie's on our way home to see the kids at her house and she saw the plant in my car. She said 'Where did you get that?' I told her it was the planter Aunt Laurie got me. She was surprised because her's was a lot different....well it turns out I stole my mom's planter that she got from her surgery!!! I'm such a dork, I really need to pay better attention when I'm doing things. My family thought it was hysterical and gave me a standing ovation when I returned the stolen plant. (Seriously, what would they do for entertainment without me??)
I thought I would share a fun picture of Jayden and Harrison playing 'dueling lawn mowers', my the things that keep little boys busy!!
