Kayli Jo's Extreme Make Over

Before Sprial Diva

Are we there yet?

Final Masterpiece!!
Today I took my niece Kayli Jo out for a day of pampering, she got her first perm with Aunt Kimmie :) We took her to my fav hair girl (Holla...Christeena @ Joys!!) She did so good in the chair for 3 long hours! She has beautiful hair and it really needed a pick me up, with her new do she can wake up, wet her hair add some mousse and off to school. She is the only girl with 3 brothers so she doesn't get a lot of girl time. We had a good morning together and then we went and got Jayden to join us for a gourmet lunch at McDonalds. I like being the fun aunt who gets to spoil every now and again. Aunt Kimmie loves you, my beautiful little 'KJ'!

Fun at Grandma Jo's

Hey Hey Hey, I got another A!!!

So, one more course down! I completed Management Theory with an 'A' grade.

I'm getting more comfortable with the routine of things and writing after it'd been so long.

Off we go to Organizational Behavior, Yippee!

Jayden & Alison

Pre School Crafts!

Jayden has been bringing home fun crafts so I thought I'd post some fun pictures! He's so excited about them.

Today, they played with finger paints and made spiders with thier hands. He got in the car and said:

"Mommy, I made pider I made pider!!! Like this mommy like this" As he said it, he pressed his hands down flat like when he used the paints, it was so cute!!
Jayden Douglas Green, your mommy is so so PROUD of you little man!

Park City

Laurie and the kids came home for a visit this weekend and so my mom and I took Friday off and we had a girls trip to Park City :)

We left early in the morning and spent the morning getting great deals on christmas presents. We went to carters, children's place and oshkosh and I got Jayden some great birthday and christmas presents.

We had a great lunch at Baja Cantina and a quick visit to Rocky Mountain Chocolate. We had great laughs with each other and Lisa (who btw is such a great sport!) learned some new terminology...may have had something to do with aviation. LOL!!

I miss how much we all laugh together. I'm so grateful to have such a loving mother and fun sisters in my life. “A sister is one who reaches for your hand and touches your heart"

After a lot of thought and turmoil, we finally decided to put Jayden into more of a pre school/daycare. I searched on KSL and found Kandice at Super Kids. She does it out of her basement and had an opening for Jayden and his friend Daxton who was at his previous daycare with him.

I can't believe the difference, it is like night and day. Each morning I drop Jayden off and he says 'Me go school mommy, me go school!' instead of fighting each morning. When I pick him up, I get a detailed report of what they learned that day during preschool, songs they sang and books they've read. I also get an outline of what he had to eat for breakfast, lunch and snacks and he comes home each day with a craft to show us. He is in such a good mood in the afternoons and is excited to tell us about his day. Kandice teaches them about the days of the week, a sign language word and a Spanish word as well. Jayden has been counting to 10 with mommy and daddy for awhile, so it's nice to have that reinforced during the day.

My heart is so full as a working mother, to know that he's loved and taken care of during the day. It still makes me a little emotional to talk about because Jayden seems to be doing so great there. On the way to 'school' the other morning, I said:

"Jayden, do you want to sing the wheels on the bus song?" and he said
"No, mommy Kandice sing song"

I'm 100% ok with the fact he likes to sing with her because that says so much about her ability to connect with the kids. She even has a private blog set up so the parents can see pictures of the kids and up to date on the daily activities.

I really appreciated all the love and care that Georgia has given Jayden over the last two years, and I couldn't have made it without her!

Ok, so most of you that know me or have talked to me in the last 4 months know that I've been planning a surprise trip for Cory and I to go to Vegas and see Cirque Du Soliel.

It all went down over this weekend and we had a really good time, ok did I say 'we' because I'm sure I meant 'me'!! :) I wanted to plan a treat for Cory because he really is a great husband! He helps me with Jayden while I'm at school or doing homework and when I have trips for work. September was a really busy month with a trip to St. George with my mom, a week in Park City for work during Management Seminar and a big final for school.

So, I picked Cory up in a white limo at work on Friday after work. Needless to say, he was so shocked I thought it best not to pose for a picture, I've added a 'look alike' and I'll let your imagination do the rest :)

We stayed at Excalibur and enjoyed an afternoon at the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef, then it was onto KA! at MGM that night. I loved the show! My boss actually told me about it and it was incredible, we had 4th row seats and you could feel the heat of the flames. During the show, the stage actually comes out and they perform on it vertically! It was great and I had a good time with my hubby. We played at a 21 table and donated $120 to the Vegas cause...:)

Thanks for all that you do for your family Cory. You are handsome, intelligent, responsible, loving, thoughtful and the best dad Jayden could ever ask for. I go to bed each night and wake up each morning truly thankful you are mine.

I love you babe!

Happy Birthday C.J.

We also celebrated Cory's sister, Chelsea Jo this last week. Her offical birthday was yesterday, October 12th.
Cory played Mr. Mom because I was in SLC at a conference until late Thursday night. He made homemade clam chowder for everyone and we had a good time visiting. It was actually thrown together last minute, so we were happy to see some could make it.

As you can see, Jayden was entertaining Aunt Shanna as usual!
Happy Birthday Miss Chelsea!!

Happy Birthday Jax!

Tuesday, October 7th was Jaxon Dean's 3rd Birthday Party at our house.

We had Crapa & Crapma (Jaxon's version of grandma and grandpa) there with my Aunt Laurie. The kids got to watch in agony as Jax opened up his birthday presents. Then we had cake and ice cream.

It was fun to see how excited he was with his presents, Jayden kept asking 'When my birthday mommy?' I'd say 'In awhile Jayden' he'd say 'Morrow, mommy morrow my birthday?' He's already so full of patience, it kills me :)

Happy Birthday Jaxon Dean!!

ChUcKy ChEeSe...Please!!

For my sister's birthday we watched her kids, so I talked my mom into going to Chucky Cheese with me last Sunday. (I know, I'm a little late on blogging!)

The kids had a really good time, I couldn't believe how many people were there! Jayden actually went on all the rides, and especially loved the horse! It rocked and jumped like a race horse and it was one of the favorite of all the boys.

He got see Chucky Cheese himself and even rode in a 4x4 jeep with all of this cousins :) Jayden loved to spend time with his Grandma Jo. They go on the weekends during the summer to Star Valley so he doesn't get to see her as often as we'd like. So it was a great chance to get the kids together and spend some time with Mommy & Grandma.

BTW - We sure missed the younger clan, Jayden kept asking 'Where's isson mommy?' Which is code for 'Where is Harrison Mommy?' We love you guys!
